Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Magic 7 Entertainment, LLC is a California company focused on marketing, show and business strategy consulting, and Administrative Support for magicians. The Site is our marketing website. Its purpose is to describe what we do and to let visitors send us an inquiry or book a short lunch or coffee meeting.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

We do not sell personal information. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the Site, and we ask that you do not include sensitive information (such as government identification numbers, financial account details, or health information) in the form.
3. What we collect
a. Information you give us through the Inquire form
When you submit the Inquire form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional — only if you choose to provide it)
- What you need (the type of help you are asking about)
- Any notes you choose to include
b. Information collected when you book a meeting
The Site links to a Google Calendar appointment scheduling page so you can book a lunch or coffee meeting. That booking page is provided by Google. When you book, Google collects the information the booking page asks for (such as your name and email address) and the time you choose, and shares the booking with us so it appears on our calendar. Google processes that information on our behalf as a service provider under our Google Workspace agreement (see Section 5).
c. Information collected automatically (cookies, analytics, and similar technologies)
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the Site. GA4 uses first-party cookies (for example, cookies named “_ga”) and similar technologies in your browser. Based on Google’s published descriptions, this kind of analytics can collect information such as:
- Pages you view and how you interact with them (for example, scrolls and clicks on outbound links)
- The website or source that referred you to the Site
- Device and browser information (for example, browser type, operating system, screen size, and language)
- Approximate location (such as country, region, or city), which Google derives from your Internet Protocol (IP) address
- A randomly generated identifier stored in a cookie, used to recognize a returning browser
We have set up Google Analytics to limit what it collects and keeps. Google signals and advertising personalization are turned off, the Site is not linked to Google Ads or other advertising products, and we have turned off sharing of Analytics data with Google for Google’s own products and services. We do not send your name, email address, or other information that directly identifies you to Google Analytics, and we do not use its User-ID feature. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses and uses them only to estimate approximate location. Google Analytics automatically deletes user-level and event-level data after 2 months. Aggregated reports that do not identify individual visitors may be kept longer.
d. Information our hosting provider processes
When you visit the Site or submit the Inquire form, our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., processes technical information needed to deliver and secure the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time, and it passes your form submission on to our inquiry records.
4. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Read and respond to your inquiry
- Schedule, confirm, and hold meetings you book
- Communicate with you about your request, including follow-up questions
- Understand how the Site is used and improve its content and performance
- Keep the Site and our records secure and protect against misuse
- Keep business records and comply with legal obligations
We do not use your information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not sell it.
5. Who we share information with
We share information only as described here:
- Airtable (operations tool / service provider). When you submit the Inquire form, your submission is sent from the Site to our Airtable workspace, which we use to organize and track inquiries. We use Airtable as a service provider to store and manage this information on our behalf, not for Airtable’s own independent purposes.
- Google Analytics (Google). Usage and device information described in Section 3(c) is collected and processed by Google to provide analytics reports to us. Google processes this information on our behalf as a service provider under Google’s data processing terms.
- Google Calendar (Google). If you book a meeting, Google processes your booking information on our behalf as a service provider under our Google Workspace agreement, to operate the booking page and add the meeting to our calendar.
- Vercel (website hosting / service provider). Vercel hosts the Site and processes technical information such as IP addresses and server logs, and passes your Inquire form submission to our Airtable workspace, on our behalf to deliver and secure the Site.
- Independent contractors (service providers). Independent contractors who help us deliver our services, such as photographers and videographers, receive only the client’s name and the information needed to schedule the work, and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith it is required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Magic 7 Entertainment, our visitors, or others.
- Business changes. If Magic 7 Entertainment is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
Magic 7 Entertainment does not sell personal information.
6. Cookies and analytics — your choices
This section is our cookie and analytics disclosure. The Site uses cookies and similar technologies only for analytics through Google Analytics 4 (GA4), as described in Section 3(c). We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies.
Do Not Track. Some web browsers let you send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal to the websites you visit. The Site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, because there is no common industry standard for recognizing or responding to them. Our use of Google Analytics is limited as described in Section 3(c), and you can stop Google Analytics from collecting information about your visits by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on offered by Google at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Tracking by other parties. No third party collects personally identifiable information about a visitor’s online activities over time and across other websites through our Site, except Google Analytics, as described in Section 3(c).
Your choices:
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies should not stop the Site from working.
- Google Analytics opt-out. Google offers a Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Opt-out preference signals. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that ever changes, we will honor recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), as required by law.
7. How long we keep information
We keep information as follows:
- We keep inquiries and booking information from people who do not become clients only as long as reasonably necessary to respond and follow up, and generally no longer than 2 years after our last contact, unless a longer period is needed to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation. This includes copies in our inquiry records, calendar, and email.
- Clients: as described in “Files and data we keep” (Section 9) of your Client Services Agreement.
- Analytics: Google Analytics deletes user-level and event-level data after 2 months; aggregated reports that do not identify you may be kept longer.
- Hosting logs: kept by Vercel only as long as needed to operate and secure the Site.
- Backups: deleted information may remain in our service providers’ backups for a limited time under their standard deletion schedules.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, such as using reputable service providers and limiting access to the people who need it. However, no website, internet transmission, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”
Magic 7 Entertainment does not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our use of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is for analytics only. We do not use Google Ads remarketing or similar advertising features on the Site.
If we later begin using advertising or remarketing tools that could count as “selling” or “sharing” under California law, we will update this policy before doing so and provide a way to opt out, including a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link if required.
You may still email us at any time at Contact@magic7entertainment.com to state your opt-out preference, and we will record it.
10. Your California privacy rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives California residents certain rights. The CCPA applies to businesses that meet certain thresholds, and Magic 7 Entertainment may not currently meet them. Even so, we choose to honor the following requests from California residents:
- Right to know. You can ask what personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and who we have disclosed it to, and ask for a copy of the specific pieces of information.
- Right to delete. You can ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, information we must keep for legal or security reasons).
- Right to correct. You can ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. You can tell us not to sell or share your personal information. (We do not sell or share it today — see Section 9.)
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. You can ask us to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the Site and do not use it to infer characteristics about you.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
How to exercise your rights
Email Contact@magic7entertainment.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us which right you want to exercise. To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity, usually by confirming details you gave us or by contacting you at the email address we have on file. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof that the agent is authorized. We aim to respond within the time frames the law provides (generally within 45 days, with a possible extension, with notice).
11. Children’s privacy
Anyone may browse the Site. Our services are for adults and businesses, so we ask that only people 18 or older submit the Inquire form or book a meeting through the Site. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it. We also do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from anyone under 18, we will delete it.
12. Third-party sites and services
The Site may link to websites and services run by others. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review their policies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on the Site and change the effective date above. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to let visitors know, such as a notice on the Site.
